The certifications cover the company’s entire R&D operations within fire-retardant treated wood and mark an important step in systematizing and future-proofing processes for quality, sustainability, and safety.
- Being certified according to these three management systems shows that our internal processes meet a high international standard. It’s proof of the work we do every day to ensure traceability, accountability, and continuous improvement. ISO certification is not a final goal – it’s a tool to become even better, says Patrik Svanerud, Quality Manager at Woodsafe Research & Development AB
The research and development operations also benefit from the systematic ISO framework. Woodsafe Research & Development AB, which conducts advanced testing, development, and verification of fire protection solutions, is included in the certified scope.
– For us in research, the ISO frameworks create a structure that enhances data quality, documentation, and traceability in our testing and development processes. It also provides our customers and partners with greater confidence that our results are reproducible and transparent, says Lazaros Tsantaridis, Head of Research at Woodsafe Research & Development AB.
The certifications were carried out by an accredited third-party organization, RISE, following a comprehensive review of Woodsafe’s methods and internal routines.
